Living just streets from Elwood Beach, the owners of this home wanted to capture a coastal feel mixed with urban practicality. Despite a compact block, they needed plenty of relaxed living space, bedrooms fit for a growing family, and natural light.
Milton created distinct zones including a parent’s retreat and children’s rooms with adjacent play areas. An internal staircase flanked by floor to ceiling glass creates light in a place that would otherwise be closed in.
The busy family desired an off street car park, but the home originally didn’t have a driveway. With smart design, we were able to unlock a suitable position, and we secured council approval for a driveway to connect to the street.
