With a beachfront location and a growing family, the owners wanted a home that featured plenty of indoor and outdoor living space and made the most of ocean views. While they love contemporary style, they also wanted a place of warmth and comfort.
Milton designed a minimalist exterior that opens to a home that features spaces for gathering and places to retreat. The hero is a sunken lounge pit where everyone can kick back and catch up after a day by the pool or the beach.
Walking past this beautiful home, it would never be evident, but it is in fact a house made up of parts. The local council required the structure to be ‘moveable’ if the sand dunes ever edge too close. Milton solved this complexity with a modular design that can disassemble into sections if the need ever arises.
